Step #1 – Initial Contact & Free Roof Inspection Scheduling
When you call One Construction & Roofing, one of our receptionists will greet you and collect your basic information, including your full name, home address, email, and phone number.
Within 24–48 hours, one of our experienced roofing estimators will contact you to schedule an on-site appointment. During this visit, we perform a detailed roof inspection and provide you with a 100% free, no-obligation estimate.
Step #2 – Contract, Material Selection & Permit Process
Once you decide to move forward with One Construction & Roofing, we will guide you through signing your contract and selecting the roofing material and color that best fits your home and budget.
After everything is finalized, our team will handle the entire permitting process by submitting your building permit. At the same time, we will schedule your project start date and keep you informed every step of the way to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience.
Step #3 – Project Preparation & Material Delivery
Before the project begins, we coordinate the delivery of all roofing materials and a dumpster to your property. This is typically done one day prior to the tear-off. Our team will also take detailed before photos of your roof to properly document its condition.
Step #4 – Tear-Off & Installation Preparation
On the first day of the project, our crew will protect your landscaping with tarps to help prevent damage to plants and surrounding areas. We will begin the tear-off process and carefully inspect the roof deck to ensure it is in optimal condition. Any damaged or deteriorated wood will be replaced as needed.
This phase may also include a sheathing inspection by the building department, depending on project requirements.
At the end of the day, our crew will thoroughly clean your property and use magnetic tools to pick up nails and debris, ensuring your lawn, driveway, and surrounding areas are safe and clean.
Step #5 – Roof Installation & Final Inspection Preparation
Once the dry-in inspection is approved by the building department, we will proceed with the installation of your selected roofing system, whether it is shingle or metal.
At the end of each workday, your assigned project manager will inspect the installation to ensure everything meets our quality standards and that your property remains clean and organized.
After the installation is completed, we will schedule the final inspection with the building department to ensure your new roof meets all required codes and regulations.
Step #6 – Final Approval, Documentation & Customer Satisfaction
Once your roof successfully passes the final inspection with the building department, we will provide you with all final documentation, including the approved inspection report confirming that your new roof meets all local codes and requirements.
At this stage, the project is officially complete, and final payment will be collected.
